Moses Hill

 William L. Hill died just prior to the Civil War. Moses, listed on the final settlement of William’s estate at the left who was left to Amanda was also left to William L. upon the death of his father. Presumably Moses was a small child at the time of Samuel’s death. Moses lived on the Hill farm after emancipation. Moses was supposed to have saved a certain amount of money. He hid it under a tree on the farm. He never told anyone where it was. buried.
